EAT AT URBAN

In December of 2003 a couple of good ole boys decided to take
a chance and open their
own restaurant. Dave Calkins and Lee Howard had already established themselves as top
Chefs at two popular Georgetown dining spots when they put their heads
together and opened Urban Bar-B-Que in Rockville MD. In just over 3 years, with some
help from a few good friends, UBQ expanded its staff and dining room to five times the
original size to
keep up with demand. Dave and Lee take pride in their BBQ and it shows. Order
the ribs at UBQ and you will taste the TLC they put in every rack.
With the success of UBQ, Urban has now opened
their second store. In January of 2007, Dave and Lee opened the doors to Urban Burger Company.
Much like Urban Bar-B-Que, Urban Burger relies on the principle that good times and great food
go hand and hand. In a world where fast food joints and corporate owned restaurants run rampant,
